Corners are L-shaped pieces sold by the linear foot. They also cover about 0.75 sq ft of wall each foot, so we take that off the flats.

Before you order
How many square feet do I need?
Wall height times width, minus openings, plus 10 percent for cuts. Order outside corners separately by the linear foot; each linear foot of corner covers about 0.75 square feet, so the calculator above subtracts it from the flats. Minimum order is 100 square feet of flats per color.
How long until I get it?
Made-to-order colors ship or are ready for pickup in two to four weeks; colors on the shelf sooner. The plant runs three shifts, so the date we confirm is the date we mean. We confirm the date by email within one business day.
What do I set it with?
Type S mortar or a polymer-modified veneer mortar over a scratch coat on metal lath, or directly on clean concrete, block or brick. Back-butter every piece. No adhesive tubes, no screws.
Inside, outside, fireplace?
All three. Outdoors it takes the weather; on a fireplace it goes on the surround and the wall above. Keep it off the firebox floor and follow the fireplace manufacturer's clearances.
Does it need sealing?
No sealer is required. Ask us before you apply one.
Will it look like the picture?
The photo is a sample board, several pieces of one color. The wall will show the same family with more range: color and size vary from piece to piece. Order the whole job from one batch and mix pieces from every pallet.
